This policy explains what information ReturnOn Marketing (“ReturnOn,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit returnon.io, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form, request a conversation, or sign up for our newsletter, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, company, job title, and anything you write in your message.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and our service providers collect standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how you arrived at the site, and how long you stayed. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and the site isn’t directed at them.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and follow up about our services
- To send our newsletter and other marketing emails you’ve signed up for
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To keep the site secure and comply with legal obligations
We don’t sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tools for two purposes:
- Site operation — needed for the site to work properly.
- Analytics — Google Analytics helps us see how visitors use the site. Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host, our CRM and email platform (HubSpot), and our analytics provider. They may use it only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and inquiry information for as long as we have an active business relationship or a reasonable business need, then delete it. Newsletter subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to the provider’s settings.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails any time using the link in every email.
- Access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (such as those in California and Colorado) may give you additional rights. We’ll respond to any request within the time those laws require and won’t treat you differently for making one.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to or embed content from other websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
